BOWLING GREEN — Through 23 games, the Bowling State University softball team holds a winning record and is nearing its victory total from a season ago in a little more than a month of play, reflecting continued program development under second-year coach Michelle Gardner. Gardner’s approach to rebuilding the Falcons is straightforward. It’s a matter of taking little steps along the way, rather than focusing on immediate lofty aspirations.
