Australia names preliminary roster for 2026 international women's softball season
The Australia Women’s National Softball Team has announced a 31‑player preliminary roster for the 2026 season.
The extended list will serve as the talent pool for upcoming national‑team activities and selection events ahead of 2026 international competitions, which include the Softball Australia Cup in Brisbane, featuring Japan and New Zealand, and participation in the WBSC Women’s Softball World Cup Group Stage in Prague, 16–20 June 2026.
In 2027, Australia will host and compete in the WBSC Women’s Softball World Cup Finals in Redcliffe (Queensland) from 5–11 April.
Headlined by Tokyo 2020 Olympians Rachel Lack, Kaia Parnaby, Ellen Roberts, Taylah Tsitsikronis and Jade Wall, the roster also features 12 returnees from the WBSC Women’s Softball World Cup Finals 2024 in Castions di Strada, Italy.
