Lesotho National Softball Championships highlight exciting finals, fresh branding
Lesotho’s softball season continued with the staging of the Men’s and Women’s National Championships at the Ha Mabote Police Playing Grounds in Maseru, the country's capital and largest city. During the competition, the new logo of the Lesotho Baseball and Softball Association (LBSA) was presented to the public.
The annual competition gathered four teams each in the men's and women's events. The tournaments consisted of a single round robin with the top two teams in the final standings moving to the final.
The tournament was attended by high-level sports authorities, including LBSA President Mr Tseliso Lemphane and the LBSA Executive Board, the President and CEO of Lesotho Sports and Recreational Commission (LSRC) Mr Baba Malephane and Mr Sekgoete, LSRC Commissioner Mrs Limpho Rakoto and Lesotho National Olympic Committee Commissioner and former President, Mrs Matlohang Ramoqopo.
The women's competition included B. Killers, Gills, Gladiators and Queens. After the round robin, Queens and Gladiators qualified for the final, with the royal team winning 8-5 in in a thrilling finale.

The men's competition included the B. Killers, Gills, Gladiators and Kings. After the completion of the opening round, the Kings and the Gladiators advanced to the final, where the Kings claimed the title.
