This week’s matchups open a busy summer for the Aussie Spirit. Following this series against Chinese Taipei, the Women’s National Softball Team will host No. 2 USA in the USA Down Under Series, from 31 December 2025 to 3 January 2026, with both rivals playing eight games in Brisbane.
Additionally, from 5 to 11 April 2027, the WBSC Women’s Softball World Cup Finals will take place at Talobilla Park in Redcliffe, Australia, located 45 minutes outside Brisbane. This will mark the return of the world’s premier women’s softball event to Australia, which previously hosted the inaugural WBSC Women’s Softball World Cup at Albert Park in Melbourne in February 1965.
