Tiare Jennings named The World Games Women's Softball MVP; All-World Team revealed
USA shortstop Tiare Jennings was named Most Valuable Player of The World Games Women’s Softball tournament after delivering an all-around standout performance in Chengdu. All four medal-round teams earned representation on the All-World Team.
Jennings did it all in Chengdu. She hit .400 for the tournament, with two home runs, five RBIs and a double, good for a .750 slugging percentage. She also led the event with seven runs scored and eight hits. Defensively, she was flawless in 19 chances across five games, splitting time between shortstop and first base.
The All-World Team features four players from champions USA, three from silver medallists Chinese Taipei, two from Canada (4th place), and one from bronze medallists Japan:
