0 27

#2 ranked BC Gremlins defeated the #7 ranked Toronto Batmen 6-0, in a game that stood 0-0 into the sixth inning, a hard fought, a pitching duel between the Gremlins Jack Besgrove and the Batmen’s Tyler Randerson. Toronto erased Gremlin baserunners from, the basepaths in four consecutive innings.

The Gremlins exploded for 6 runs in the 6th, keyed by a bases-loaded 2 run single by Zenon Winters.

Gremlins ace Jack Besgrove wound up with a 21 strikeout no hitter. The 21 strikeouts in a 7 inning game (every out) marks a new all time ISC World Tournament record (that will never be beat)

The Driller had to go to extra innings against the Ostrander Norsemen, after Norsemen’s Francisco Lombardo homered last in the game to tie it and send it to extras. The Driller’s Juan Zara homered in extras for the win.
