The highly anticipated Women’s Softball Asia Cup 2025 takes place from 14–20 July in Xi’an, China and fans around the world can catch 23 (played on the main field) of the 45 round robin games plus the two medal games live and free on Gametime’s official YouTube channel (without commentary).

Ten of Asia’s top national teams will compete in a round-robin showdown for regional dominance and qualification to two major events: the WBSC Women's Softball World Cup 2026/2027 and the 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 softball competition.

The Xi’an Physical Education University Softball Stadium will see hosts China; Hong Kong, China; India; Japan; Korea; Malaysia; the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Chinese Taipei compete for three spots in the World Cup while the top eight will secure spots at the Asian Games.

The tournament will open with a single round robin, with 45 games scheduled from 14 to 19 July. The top two teams in the round robin will earn a ticket to the World Cup and will play for the continental title. Third and fourth place finishers will go head to head, not only for the tournament's bronze medal, but also for the third available ticket to the World Cup.

The WBSC Women's Softball World Cup will open in 2026 with the Group Stage. Under the Two-Stage Format, the Group Stage and the Finals of the World Cup are played in consecutive years. A total of 18 teams will participate in the WBSC Women's Softball World Cup, allocated across three different groups for the Group Stage.

Lima (PER), Oklahoma City (USA) and Prague (CZE) will host the three groups of the World Cup. Each city will host a six-team group, with the top two teams in the final standings - plus two wild cards - earning a ticket to the Finals 2027.
