Super Round schedule announced for WBSC Men’s Softball World Cup Finals

The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) revealed the Super Round schedule for the WBSC Men’s Softball World Cup Finals 2025 following the conclusion of the 12-game Opening Round in Prince Albert, Canada on Thursday.

The Finals move into the next phase of the tournament with Japan, Venezuela, New Zealand, and USA set to compete head-to-head over the next two days.

All four teams will enter the Super Round carrying over their respective Opening Round head-to-head records. As a result, Venezuela and Japan (1-0) will start the Super Round on top of the standings, followed by New Zealand and USA with 0-1 win-loss records. 

The top two teams at the conclusion of the Super Round will compete For the Title of World Champion at Prime Ministers' Park on Sunday, 13 July at 14:00 (local time). Third and fourth place finishers will play the Bronze Medal Game at 11:00.

On Friday, USA and New Zealand will open the Super Round at 14:30, while Venezuela vs Japan will start at 20:30.

Defending champions and world No. 2 Australia, No. 1 Argentina, No. 4 Canada and No. 11 Dominican Republic will compete in the Placement Round.
