Czechia clinch seventh consecutive European Men's Softball Championship, tune up for The World Games 2025

World No. 7 Czechia went undefeated to win the 2025 European Men's Softball Championship, beating No. 15 Denmark 8-1 in the final.

It marks the seventh consecutive continental title for the Czech squad, which will now shift focus to The World Games 2025 in Chengdu, China.

The championship was hosted in Havlíčkův Brod and Jihlava, Czechia, and featured eight participating nations: Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, Great Britain, Netherlands, Slovakia, Sweden and hosts Czechia.

Denmark opened the scoring in the final, but the home team responded with a three-run second inning to take a 3-1 lead and they never looked back. Czechia finished the game with a five-run rally in the bottom of the fifth to claim the title.

In the bronze medal game, No. 24 Belgium defeated No. 19 Netherlands 10-3. A five-run second inning set the tone for Belgium, which added two more runs in the third and three in the fourth.

Czechia now set their sights on The World Games 2025, where they have been placed in Group A alongside world No. 1 Argentina, No. 3 Japan and No. 5 Venezuela. The men's softball tournament will take place from 6 to 10 August.
