WBSC U-15 Women's Softball World Cup Day 3: early afternoon games underway
Day 3 of the WBSC U-15 Women's Softball World Cup 2025 is underway.
Chinese Taipei ended Australia's winning run in Legnano and earned their first win. Mexico defeated Spain in Caronno Pertusella.
Canada-Chinese Taipei and Mexico-Japan are now live.
Four more games are scheduled for today.

Mexico-Spain 7-0
Mexico scored five runs in the bottom of the fifth to beat Spain by the run difference rule. Starter Raquel Pineda limited Spain to one hit, but the score remained close through four innings.
Mexico had not a productive day despite collecting 11 hits. Alisson Gonzalez, Jaslyn Mendez and Sofia Chavez enjoyed a two-hit game.

Chinese Taipei-Australia 8-6
Chinese Taipei defeated Australia at the end of a game dominated by the lineups. Chinese Taipei had 12 hits and Australia had ten.
With the game tied at three, Chinese Taipei broke the score open with a five-run bottom of the fifth. Chinese Taipei singled six times and used a passed ball and a sacrifice bunt to manufacture the rally.
Yu-Chieh Chao went the distance and earned the win.
