WBSC U-15 Women's Softball World Cup - 10 Days to go: Hosts Italy announce roster
With 10 days to go to the WBSC U-15 Women's Softball World Cup 2025, hosts Italy announced their 16-player roster, which features utility player Anita Bissa, a 2021 alumna of the WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup.

Italy will open camp on June 22 and play warm-up games against the Italian Softball League (or Serie A) teams Saronno and Bollate.

The WBSC U-15 Women's Softball World Cup 2025 will take place from 27 June to 5 July in Caronno Pertusella and Legnano in Lombardy, Italy.
The WBSC U-15 Women's Softball World Cup is a 12-team event played under the standard WBSC World Cup format. It features a two-group Opening Round, where the top three finishers from each group advance to the Super Round to compete for a spot in the medal round. The teams placed fourth to sixth in each group will compete in the Placement Round. The World Championship Final on Saturday, July 5, will be game No. 50.
- Group A: World No. 2 Japan, No. 3 Puerto Rico, No. 7 Italy, No. 9 Mexico, No. 13 Spain, No. 64 American Samoa.
- Group B: No. 1 USA, No. 4 Chinese Taipei, No. 6 Canada, No. 8 Czechia, No. 10 Australia, No. 39 Singapore.

The WBSC U-15 Women's Softball World Cup 2025 Trophy will be on display in various locations within the Lombardy Region until June 22 as part of a Trophy Tour organised by the Italian Baseball Softball Federation (FIBS) Lombardy Commission.
All members of the media, both local, national, and international, who plan to cover the event must apply for accreditation through the official WBSC Media Accreditation online platform. The registration deadline is Monday, June 23.
Tokyo, Japan, hosted the inaugural WBSC U-15 Women's Softball World Cup from October 21 to 29, 2023.
The tournament featured 11 participating teams, representing countries or territories across four Olympic continents:
Americas (5) USA, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Peru and Brazil
Asia (3) Japan, Chinese Taipei, Philippines
Europe (2) Czechia and Italy
Oceania (1) New Zealand
USA shut out Puerto Rico in the World Championship Final, 3-0, to become the first-ever U-15 Women's Softball World Champions.
Japan blanked Chinese Taipei in the third-place game, 2-0, and claimed the bronze medal.
