State Softball Teams Learn NCAA Tournament Selections

The Oklahoma and Oklahoma State softball teams have both earned spots in the field for the NCAA Tournament.

The Sooners are the #2 overall seed and will be hosting a regional for the 14th straight tournament and the 21st time overall.

OU will face Boston University in the first round on Friday at 5:00 pm.

California will face Omaha in the other first round game Friday at 2:30 pm.

Oklahoma State will be in the Fayetteville regional and face Indiana in the first round Friday at 3:00 pm.

The host team is Arkansas, the #4 overall seed, who will face Saint Louis Friday at 5:30 pm.

It ends a streak of five straight years in which OSU hosted.

The last time they didn't host was 2018 at Arkansas.

The regionals are four-team, double elimination, with the winners advancing to a best-of-three super reigonal, with those winners advancing to the Women's College World Series in Oklahoma City.
