Singapore name experienced U-23 men's softball preliminary roster for World Cup qualifier
World No. 13 Singapore unveiled the preliminary roster for the U-23 Men's National Softball Team, in preparation for the World Cup Qualifier to be held later this year. After three rounds of selections held in February, 21 athletes have been selected to be part of the training squad.
The second edition of the U-23 Men's Softball Asia Cup is scheduled from 2 to 7 June in Bangkok (THA), with two spots in the World Cup 2026 at stake. 16 players will be selected for that competition.

The list features a wealth of international experience, with 14 of the 21 players having previously played in a World Cup. This includes eight veterans from the U-18 Men's Softball World Cup 2020, where Singapore finished ninth place; six alumni from the U-18 Men's Softball World Cup 2023, where Singapore finished 11th; and also three players from the inaugural U-23 Men's Softball World Cup: Mathew Tan, Shun Kai Cheoh and Terrence Tay.
