Congratulations to 2024 Hall of Fame Candidates
The Executive Board, and Board of Directors recently voted on Hall of Fame (HoF) nominations and it is with great pride that the league can announce that 2 nominations have been voted into the Steel City Softball Hall of Fame.
Below are the nomination descriptions for each of the new members.

Ronald “Ronny” Campbell
Ronny has been a dedicated and active member of our league for many years. Throughout his time here, he has served in several key roles, including Secretary, Commissioner, and a member of the ratings committee, demonstrating his commitment to the league’s success. Ronny has gone above and beyond by personally sponsoring multiple teams, ensuring that anyone who wanted to play had the opportunity. He also captained the highly successful Stonewall Kickball team, Ball in the Family. His unwavering dedication to the league and its members makes him an outstanding candidate, and he has my full endorsement.
5801 Video Lounge & Bar
5801 has been a steadfast supporter of our league over the years, contributing to countless teams in various ways. Whether through team sponsorship or providing a venue for softball or team events, 5801 has consistently been there to assist and support throughout the season. As a beloved bar and social space, 5801 has made a significant impact on Pittsburgh’s LGBTQIA+ community. Known for its inclusive atmosphere, 5801 has hosted numerous events that bring people together, creating a safe and welcoming environment for our softball players and allies. From fundraisers to support local charities to fostering community connections, 5801 plays an integral role in the vibrancy and resilience of Pittsburgh’s LGBTQIA+ scene. Its commitment to inclusivity and acceptance has solidified its position as a cornerstone of Pittsburgh’s LGBTQIA+ culture and community.
