Softball Australia appoints Mike Titheradge as new Men's National Team head coach

Softball Australia announced the appointment of Mike Titheradge as the new Head Coach of the Australia Men's National Softball Team, the Aussie Steelers. Australia, No. 2 in the WBSC Men's Softball World Ranking, are the reigning world champions and aim to defend their title this year at the WBSC Men's Softball World Cup Finals in Prince Albert, Canada.

Titheradge provides an extensive amount of knowledge, having been deeply involved with the team for many years. His extensive experience and contribution with the Steelers, coupled with his proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with both players and support staff, makes him an excellent choice to lead the squad, said Softball Australia.

"Mike's vision for the team, combined with his extensive experience and respected leadership, make him the perfect choice to guide the Steelers as we look toward an exciting future. We are confident that under Mike's guidance, the team will not only perform admirably on the world stage but also reflect the values and spirit of Australian softball."

Titheradge replaces Scott Sunley as the coach of the Australia Men's National Softball Team. Last year, Sunley led the team to a second place finish at the Men's Softball World Cup Group A.
