Jack Besgrove, Josh McGovern Spark Japan League Championship Win for Daiwa

Jack Besgrove, 17Ks in 8 innings, and Josh McGovern, with a 2-run HR to break an extra-inning scoreless tie, lead Daiwa over Honda to win the 2024 Japan League championship.

The “53rd Japan Men’s Softball League Final Tournament” held on November 9th and 10th in Konosu City, Saitama Prefecture, and Daiwa Act will become the “League Champion” for the “5th time in 8 years”

The Daiwa Act, who was second in the regular season, lost the first match (with Honda) but won the “Loser’s Comeback” (with Toyota) and clashed again with Honda, who was waiting for the championship final match.

Josh McGovern scores a two-run home run in the 8th overtime inning with a 0-0 championship game going into the overtime tiebreak! Jack Besgrove, the “World’s No.1 Southpaw” and “Absolute Stump” is in ??Serious Mode?? and stole 17 strikeouts from the Honda batting lineup!!
