WBSC U-18 Women's Softball World Cup 2024 Group C - Day 4 Live Blog: Canada playing Australia in key showdown
Definition day at The Village Dallas on Day 4 at the WBSC U-18 Women's Softball World Cup 2024 Group C. All six teams remain in contention for the two tickets to next year's Finals. With only four games to go in the Opening Round, USA have secured the No. 1 with a 4-0 record, followed by Canada with 3-1, who have also secured their place in the Play-Offs. Australia (2-1), Mexico (1-2), Philippines (1-3) and Ireland (0-4) will play for the two remaining places in tomorrow's Play-Offs.
We open Sunday with a crucial showdown between Canada and Australia which could define some thing in the Opening Round final standings. The game will begin at 9:30am. Australia will stay on the field to meet Mexico, in another key matchup at 12:30. Third game of the day will see Mexico against Ireland at 3:30pm while Philippines and USA will play the last game of the Opening Round at 6:30pm.
