NY Gremlins Impressive In Win Against Pueblo Bandits

NY Gremlins easily dispatched Pueblo Bandits on Friday, 8-0.

NY Gremlins got on the board in the bottom of the fourth inning after Nick Mullins homered to left field, scoring three runs, and Ben Enoka singled, scoring one run.

NY Gremlins scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth on a home run to center field by Cole Evans on the sixth pitch of the at-bat.

Kuba Osicka earned the win for NY Gremlins. The starting pitcher allowed two hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out nine and walking two. Melvin Batista took the loss for Pueblo Bandits. The righty went four and one-third innings, giving up six runs (five earned) on seven hits, striking out three and walking five. Ty Sebastian tossed one inning of zero-run ball for NY Gremlins in relief. The reliever allowed zero hits, striking out none and walking none.

Mullins seized on his opportunities, leading NY Gremlins with three runs batted in from the number nine spot in the lineup. The catcher went 1-for-2 on the day. Ladislao Malarczuk and Cole Evans each collected two hits for NY Gremlins. Mathieu Roy paced NY Gremlins with three walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, accumulating seven walks for the game. NY Gremlins were sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Mullins made the most plays with nine.

Caleb Roberts and Anton Brown each collected one hit for Pueblo Bandits. Pueblo Bandits didn’t commit a single error in the field. David Jaluska had the most chances in the field with eight.

Erick Ochoa hit two home runs and drove in four as NY Gremlins defeated Glowworm 16-2 on Friday. Ochoa homered in the second and fourth innings.

NY Gremlins got on the board in the top of the first inning after Bryan Abrey grounded out, scoring one run, and Abelardo Penuelas singled, scoring two runs.

Ochoa homered to center field, scoring two runs in the top of the second for the NY Gremlins.

NY Gremlins scored five runs on two hits in the top of the third inning. Ladislao Malarczuk homered to left field, scoring three runs, and Ben Enoka singled, scoring two runs.

NY Gremlins scored six runs on four hits in the top of the fourth inning. Malarczuk grounded out, scoring one run, Blake Hunter homered to left field, scoring three runs, and Ochoa homered to left field, scoring two runs.

Jack Besgrove earned the win for NY Gremlins. The starting pitcher gave up three hits and two runs (zero earned) over three innings, striking out six and walking none. Arturo Valdez took the loss for Glowworm. He went two and two-thirds innings, giving up seven runs on five hits, striking out three and walking three. Ty Sebastian tossed one inning of no-run ball for NY Gremlins in relief. The reliever gave up zero hits, striking out three and walking none.

Enoka collected two hits for NY Gremlins in three at bats. Lucio Retamar led NY Gremlins with three walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, piling up nine walks for the game.

Yusef Davis, Yuusuke Morita, and Peter Rodriguez each collected one hit for Glowworm. Glowworm were sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Emiliano Solorio made the most plays with five.

Pitching Impressive As NY Gremlins Beat HILL UNITED CHIEFS

Both teams were strong in the circle on Saturday, but NY Gremlins defeated HILL UNITED CHIEFS 2-1. Jack Besgrove started the game for NY Gremlins and recorded 21 outs.

NY Gremlins didn’t take the lead until later in the game. The game was tied at one in the bottom of the sixth when MARCO DIAZ induced Ladislao Malarczuk to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored.

HILL UNITED CHIEFS opened the scoring in the fifth after QUINTEN BRUCE singled, scoring one run.

Cole Evans singled, which helped NY Gremlins tie the game at one in the bottom of the fifth.

Besgrove earned the win for NY Gremlins. The starting pitcher gave up two hits and one run over seven innings, striking out 11 and walking one. DIAZ took the loss for HILL UNITED CHIEFS. He went six innings, giving up two runs on four hits, striking out eight and walking six.

Mathieu Roy, Erick Ochoa, Evans, and Lucio Retamar each collected one hit for NY Gremlins. Malarczuk and Evans each drove in one run for NY Gremlins. Bryan Abrey paced NY Gremlins with two walks. Nahuel Saenz took the loss for OMMA TIGRES. The starting pitcher went two and two-thirds innings, giving up four runs on five hits, striking out two and walking two.
