NY Gremlins Walk It Off Against Bear Creek Express, 2-1

The New York Gremlins took Sunday’s game in dramatic fashion, with a 2-1 walk-off victory over Bear Creek Express. The game was tied at one in the bottom of the eighth when an error scored one run. The Gremlins loaded the bases, with no outs, while the winning run scored with one out. Both teams were strong in the circle. NY Gremlins pitchers struck out 14, while Bear Creek Express sat down seven. A double by Erick Ochoa put NY Gremlins on the board in the bottom of the fifth. Brandon Horn singled, which helped Bear Creek Express tie the game at one in the top of the sixth. Jack Besgrove earned the win for NY Gremlins. The starting pitcher gave up three hits and one run over eight innings, striking out 14 and walking one. Pami Madzulukwa took the loss for Bear Creek Express. The starting pitcher went seven and one-third innings, surrendering two runs (one earned) on nine hits, striking out seven and walking three.
