Men's Baseball, Men's and Women's Softball and Baseball5 to feature in 2025 South East Asian Games

<p>Men's Baseball, Men's and Women's Softball and Baseball5 are among the 40 disciplines in the XXXIII South East Asian (SEA) Games, scheduled for December 9 to 20, 2025, in Bangkok, Chonburi and Songkhla, Thailand.</p>

<p>The SEA Games is a biennial regional multi-sports event established in 1959 by six founding NOCs: Myanmar, Cambodia (then Kampuchea), Laos, Malaya (now Malaysia), Thailand and Vietnam. </p>

<p>Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor Leste and Vietnam are the member National Olympic Committees (NOCs) of the South East Asian Games Federation.</p>

<p>The first Games were in 1959 in Bangkok. At the time the event was named South East Asian Peninsular Games (SEAP Games).</p>

<p>Hosts <a href="https://www.wbsc.org/en/news/sea-games-singapore-clinch-historic-men-s-softball-gold-philippines-claim-baseball-women-s-softball-titles">the Philippines won the baseball and women’s softball tournaments</a> in the previous SEA Games to feature baseball or softball in 2019. Singapore also stunned the Philippines to clinch the gold medal in men’s softball </p>
