Women's Softball World Cup Finals: June 15 ticket promotion marks one month to go

<p>The Italian Baseball Softball Federation (FIBS) will launch a 24-hour ticket promotion on Saturday, June 15, to mark the 30 day countdown to the <a href="https://www.wbsc.org/en/events/2024-womens-softball-world-cup-finals/home">WBSC Women's Softball World Cup Finals</a>. Tickets and tournament passes will be available with a 30% discount at 00:01 (Italian time zone, CEST) and until 23:59 (CEST).</p>

<p>The date will mark one month to go to the Finals, which will take place in Castions di Strada, Italy. <p>The XVII WBSC Women's Softball World Cup opened in 2023 with the Group Stage, which involved 18 National Teams split into three groups hosted by <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.wbsc.org/en/calendar/2023" target="_blank">Ireland</a>, <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.wbsc.org/en/events/2023-xvii-womens-softball-world-cup-group-b/home" target="_blank">Spain</a>, and <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.wbsc.org/en/events/2023-xvii-womens-softball-world-cup-group-c/home" target="_blank">Italy</a>. The top eight finishers of the 2023 Group Stage will compete in the 2024 finals in Castions di Strada, Udine, from July 15 to 20.<br><br>The eight finalists will split into two groups.</p>

<p>World No. 1 and <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.wbsc.org/en/news/usa-wins-the-world-games-gold-medal-three-peats-as-womens-softball-world-title" target="_blank">defending World Champions</a> USA, No. 5 Canada, the hosts, and No. 6 Italy and No. 17 China will play in Group A.</p>

<p>Group B will include No. 2 Puerto Rico, No. 3 Japan, No. 8 Netherlands, and No. 10 Australia.</p>

<p>The Opening Round will run from July 15 to 17.</p>

<p>The top two finishers of each group will compete in the Super Round on July 18 and 19.</p>

<p>The first and second-place finishers in the Super Round will play for the Women's Softball World Title. The number three and four seeds will play for a bronze medal. The medal games are scheduled for Saturday, July 20.</p>
