Super Round schedule announced for WBSC U-15 Women’s Softball World Cup

The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) has announced the Super Round schedule for the I WBSC U-15 Women’s Softball World Cup following the conclusion of the Opening Round in Tokyo, Japan on Tuesday.

The WBSC U-15 Women’s Softball World Cup progresses into the next phase of the competition with World No. 2 Japan, No. 1 USA, No. 3 Puerto Rico, No. 5 Chinese Taipei, No. 6 Mexico and No. 21 Philippines set to compete in the Super Round from 26-28 October.

All six teams will enter the Super Roundcarrying over their respective Opening Round head-to-head records. As a result,Japan and USA (2-0) will start the Super Round on top of the standings,followed by Puerto Rico and Chinese Taipei with 1-1 records. Mexico and thePhilippines will have a 0-2 record following group play.

The top two teams at the conclusion of theSuper Round will compete For the Title of World Champion at Ota Stadium onSunday, 29 October at 14:00. Third and fourth place finishers will play theBronze Medal Game at 11:00.

Chinese Taipei and Puerto Rico will openthe Super Round on 26 October at 11:00, followed by the game betweenPhilippines and Japan at 14:00, and Mexico and USA at 17:00.

No. 8 Italy, No. 10 Czechia, No. 18 Peru,No. 16 Brazil, and No. 23 New Zealand will compete in the Placement Round.
