WBSC Women’s Softball World Rankings July 2023: Canada moves to fourth place after Canada Cup scores update

Following the update of the WBSC Women’s Softball World Ranking on 31 July 2023, the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) has received further information concerning the results of the Canada Cup.

The result of Game 21 from this competition between Canada and Israel on 13 July - won by Canada 5-0 - has now been validated by the WBSC, providing Canada with six more points.

Canada has consequently moved up one place in the rankings to fourth place in the world, overtaking Chinese Taipei by four points. 

The WBSC World Rankings included points from sanctioned events over a four year period.
