Welcome to the live blog for day four of the WBSC Women's Softball World Cup Group A in Balbriggan, Ireland, which features the last games of the Opening Round ahead of tomorrow's Playoffs.

Chinese Taipei v Australia

Australia get on the board at their first turn at bat with Kylie Steemers and Jade Wall both hitting ground balls past pitcher Ya Ting Tu to score Tamieka Whitefield and Taylah Tsitsikronis.
