[Softball] ERAU Extends Win Streak to 14
Embry-Riddle won eight games last week to push its consecutive win streak to 14 and improve its California Pacific Conference record to 16-0 and 24-9 overall. The Eagles swept doubleheaders over La Sierra, two against Benedictine Mesa, and closed out the week with two non-conference wins over Menlo. In the two wins over LSU, ERAU put up 29 runs as both games ended in the fifth via the mercy rule. In the opener, the Eagles scored in every inning, the big blast being a grand slam off the bat of Autumn Sulusi, who finished with five RBI. In the second game, again used the long ball to put the game away in the 4th, sending 14 hitters to the plate and scoring 10 runs. The Eagles got their second grand slam of the game, this time from Jade Bayless, and Sulusi capped the scoring with her second blast of the day, a two-run shot.
