Softball season opens in Lesotho

<p>Softball season is underway in Lesotho after the conclusion of the Opening Season Tournament, hosted by Rovers Softball Club last weekend. A total of eight teams participated in the event, four in the men’s event and four in the women’s.</p>

<p>In the men’s competition, Ben Killers claimed the title over Gladiators, Kings and Kills; while in the women’s side Gills won it all against Rovers, Barbie Killers and Parentos.</p>

<p>In the individual awards, the Best Men Pitcher was Tshita from Gladiators, while the Best Women Pitcher was Fumane from Barbie Killers.</p>

<p>Lesotho is currently ranked No. 34 in the WBSC Men’s Softball World Rankings and No. 62 in the Women’s Softball World Rankings.</p>
