Media accreditation now open for WBSC U-23 Men’s Softball World Cup in Parana, Argentina

All local/national and international media members can now apply for accreditation using the official WBSC Media Accreditation online platform at <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><a href="https://my.wbsc.org/login" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label="my.wbsc.org (opens in a new tab)">my.wbsc.org</a></span></strong>.</p>

<p>The accreditations procedure starts by clicking on "MEDIA ACCREDITATIONS". The online form needs to be completed, including also a headshot.</p>

<p>Remember that the accreditation will go under this name if you indicate a preferred name and/or a preferred last name.</p>

<p>Approved media will receive additional onsite logistical details (i.e., where to pick up credentials, facility access, press conferences, media interview opportunities).</p>

<p>The maiden edition of the WBSC U-23 Men’s Softball World Cup will be played at Nafaldo Cargnel Stadium in Parana. This will be the second World Cup to be hosted in this venue, since the Junior Men’s Softball World Cup 2012 was played in this diamond.</p>

<p>The teams will start the tournament with a group stage (round-robin):</p>

<ul><li><strong>Group A</strong>: Argentina, Australia, Czechia, Mexico, South Africa, Singapore</li><li><strong>Group B</strong>: Canada, Japan, New Zealand, Venezuela, Team WBSC*, Israel</li></ul>

<p>The top three finishers from each group will advance to the Super Round. The finals are set for Saturday, 23 April.</p>

<h4>GUIDELINES FOR NON-RIGHTS HOLDING (“NRH”) MEDIA</h4>

<p>⦁ Only rights holders of applicable games may transmit game footage (audio and/or video) of WBSC events.</p>

<p>⦁ NRH media credentials provide access to games and any Opening/Closing Ceremonies. NB: Access will be granted subject to local health guidelines and regulations.</p>

<p>⦁ Credentials will be granted by specific categories (i.e., Press, Photographer, Radio, and TV), and stadium access will be granted accordingly.</p>

<p>⦁ It will be mandatory for Photographers and the NRH TV crews to wear WBSC-issued media vests.</p>
