WBSC announces The World Games Softball Semifinals, Day 4 schedule

The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) revealed the schedule of the semifinals and placement round of The World Games softball competition, following the conclusion of the 12-game group stage on Monday.

USA (3-0) and Chinese Taipei (2-1) advanced to the semifinals from Group A, while Japan (3-0) and Australia (2-1) were the top two squads out of Group B.

Japan will take on Chinese Taipei in the first semifinal Tuesday at 16:00 local time, followed by the semifinal between USA and Australia at 19:00. The two winners of the semifinals will move to the gold medal game on Wednesday, at 20:00. The losers of tomorrow’s semis will play for the bronze medal at 16:00.

Canada (1-2), Puerto Rico (1-2), Italy (0-3) and Mexico (0-3) will continue play in the placement round for fifth place.
