Czech Republic claimed today their second win of the tournament, behind another double-digit strikeout game by Katerina Kindermannova. The Czech squad topped the Netherlands, 2-1, an earned their second consecutive win in the event.
Kindermannova was impressive one more time, striking out 12 in a complete-game effort. She surrrendered five hits, three walks and one run to claim her second win.

Chinese Taipei defeated Mexico on Wednesday, 5-1, and remains unbeaten in the WBSC U-18 Women’s Softball World Cup standings, with a 4-0 record.
Kuei-Ping Yeh put Chinese Tipei in front with an RBI single in the top of the sixth, and one inning later her team added four more runs to the scoreboard, with RBI singles by Yung-Chi Chang and Chiao-Chi Lai, and a pair of fielder’s choice.
Hsia-Ai Ke was the winner of the game, pitching 3.1 frames in relief. She struck out four, and gave up three hits and a run.
