Wamego softball wins 4A state title

(KSNT) - The Wamego Lady Raiders are state champions after beating Andale in the championship game, 6-2 Saturday afternoon.
The Lady Raiders beat Clay Center 2-1 in their Saturday morning semifinal game to punch their ticket to the title game.
Wamego scored all six runs in the first inning. Sophomore Maya Gallagher pitched the entire championship game for the Lady Raiders.
