[Softball] Cremeens, Campolo lead Rio to sweep

    RIO GRANDE, Ohio - Kenzie Cremeens had three extra-base hits and three runs batted in to fuel a game one victory, while Sydney Campolo tossed a one-hit shutout in the nightcap to lead the University of Rio Grande in a doubleheader sweep of Ohio Christian University, Friday afternoon, in River States Conference softball action at Rio Softball Park.
    By virtue of a 13-6 triumph in the opener and 8-0 mercy rule-shortened win in game two, the RedStorm improved to 35-12 overall and 18-2 in the RSC and extended their winning streak to 12 straight games.
    Rio also secured the top seed from the league's East Division in the upcoming RSC Championship, which begins May 6 at Jackson Memorial Park in Vienna, W.Va.
