[Softball] Bailey leads No. 19 SXU in doubleheader sweep of IU South Bend

CHICAGO – Senior designated player Abbie Bailey (Tinley Park, Ill./McKendree/Andrew) was 3-for-5 on the day with five RBI's, two runs scored and a double to help lead No. 19 Saint Xavier University softball (15-0, 4-0 CCAC) to a pair of victories over Indiana University South Bend in Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) doubleheader action at the SXU Softball Field in Chicago. Bailey had a sacrifice fly and a walk-off double in an 8-0 win in game one and added two more RBI's in an 11-3 win in the nightcap. It was the first home games for the Cougars since April 24, 2019 after the 2020 season was cut short by the COVID-19 Pandemic.
