[Softball] Golic tosses Perfect Game; No. 21 SXU sweeps Roosevelt

Rosemont, Ill. – Senior pitcher Allison Golic (Mentor, Ohio/Eastern Illinois/Mentor) tallied 10 strikeouts and didn't allow a base runner, throwing her first full Perfect Game after combining for a Perfect Game earlier this season, for No. 21 Saint Xavier University softball (11-0, 2-0 CCAC) in a 9-0 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) victory over Roosevelt University (Ill.) in game one of a doubleheader at Parkway Bank Park in Rosemont, Ill. Saturday afternoon. SXU won game two in 5 innings, 11-1. It's the first time since 2012 that the Cougars have tossed two Perfect Games in a season when former standout Amie Brown (2009-12) accomplished the feat.
