[Softball] Golic reaches career milestone in a 3-0 win for No. 23 SXU over Trinity Christian

Aurora, Ill. – Senior pitcher Allison Golic (Mentor, Ohio/Eastern Illinois/Mentor) recorded 11 strikeouts and improved to 6-0 for No. 23 Saint Xavier University softball (9-0, 0-0 CCAC) in a 3-0 non-conference victory over Trinity Christian College (Ill.) at the Aurora Sport Zone in Aurora, Ill. Thursday morning. She became just the third pitcher in program history to have 500 or more career strikeouts, joining Nicole Nonnemacher (2013-16), who's 1,392 strikeouts are the second most in NAIA history, and Megan Nonnemacher (2011-14), who had 713 punch outs. Golic now has 508 strikeouts since joining the Cougars in 2018.
