Road to Tokyo Olympics: Mexico, USA Women’s National Softball Teams to clash in 3-game series

<p>USA and Mexico, ranked first and fifth respectively in the <a href="https://rankings.wbsc.org/list/softball/women"><strong>WBSC Women’s Softball World Ranking</strong></a>, will face each other in Dallas, Texas, in a three-game series from 12-14 February, in preparation for softball’s historic Olympic return at the Tokyo Olympics. The series will be held at the Texas Rangers MLB Youth Academy.</p>

<p>Mexico and USA will join Australia, Canada, Italy and Japan in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic softball competition.</p>

<p>The last official meeting between Mexico and USA was on the opening day of the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru, where USA defeated Mexico, 9-0. </p>
