[Softball] Holloway K's 13 in 5 inning No-Hitter vs. CUAA; No. 22 SXU sweeps split DH

Brighton, Mich. – Sophomore pitcher Jacky Holloway (Waukesha, Wis./Waukesha West) struck out 13 out of 15 batters, walking two and hit one batter in a 5-0, 5-inning No-hitter for No.22 Saint Xavier University softball (8-0, 0-0 CCAC) vs. Concordia University-Ann Arbor (Mich.) Friday afternoon in game two of a split doubleheader at the Legacy Center Sports Complex in Brighton, Mich. It's the first time since May of 2016 that the Cougars had No-hitters on consecutive days after a combined Perfect Game yesterday. Former standout pitcher Nicole Nonnemacher (2013-16) tossed no-no's on May 5 & May 6, 2016. Senior pitcher Allison Golic (Mentor, Ohio/Eastern Illinois/Mentor) improved to 5-0 in the circle, tossing 6.0 innings giving up three hits, one run (unearned), one walk and 10 strikeouts in an 8-1 victory over Madonna University (Mich.) in game one. SXU was scheduled to play Aquinas College (Mich.) and played three innings before the game was called due to time constraints at complex.
