[Softball] Softball Adds Signee to 2021 Class

UNOH softball announces their first signing for the class of 2021. Tess Denning (1B/3B), from Dalton High School in Dalton, OH became the latest addition to the Racer Softball program with a signing held at her high school yesterday afternoon.

Tess, the daughter of Troy and Linda Denning, is a three-sport athlete, playing volleyball, basketball and softball during her tenure at Dalton. The National Honor Society member and highly decorated prep athlete will join the program after a stellar career. Having her junior season cancelled due to COVID, she boasts a sophomore season where she hit .494 with 10 homeruns garnering her first team all-conference and first team all-district honors. Following in the footsteps of many racer softball athletes, she also is a decorated volleyball athlete as a 1st team all-conference and first team all-district honoree this season along with honorable mention for District 4 in basketball as a junior. She is currently playing in the OHSAA state semi-finals for volleyball this coming weekend.
