[Softball] Catching Up With: Powell finding success in medical field

NOTE: During this time with the spring sports season canceled due to the corona virus pandemic, we take time to catch up with some of our UHV student-athlete alumni.

University of Houston-Victoria graduate Krissa Powell has succeeded every step of the way beginning her years as a high school softball player up to her current career as a registered veterinary nurse – critical care.

Her successes began as she was named to the District 24-5A first team and the Texas Sports Writers Association all-state honorable mention team during her high school career at Pearland High School.
