[Georgetown] Changes to spring seasons, acro and tumbling done for 2020

Georgetown College athletics announces the end of the 2020 acrobatics and tumbling season. The Tigers have one final home meet set for March 29, but in light of the threat of spreading the virus, the student-athletes and coach Michael Edelen thought it was in everyone's best interest to cancel and end the season now.

Other changes for spring sports include track and field not participating in this weekend's scheduled meet, and softball's doubleheader with Kentucky Christian for later in the month and baseball's series Monday and Tuesday with Cleary have been cancelled.

Again this is a fluid and on-going process where more information might be released daily or hourly. We ask that everyone make decisions to help stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
