Belize will have new Women’s Softball National Champions during weekend

The Belize Softball Federation is hosting the XXIX Women’s Softball National Championship from Friday, 30 August to Sunday, 1 September at Rogers Stadium in the Nation’s Capital Belize City.

The National Tournament will see the participation of 8 teams, representing first and second-place finishers in each of the Federation’s four active Associations.

Stann Creek qualified Independence United and Placencia. The Cayo representatives are Unitedville Rebels United (2018 Defending Champions) and Roaring Creek Grace Kennedy. The teams qualified from the Rural Area Association are Burrel Boom and Bermudian Landing. Bank Bulldogs and Digicell (2018 runner-up) qualified from the Capital’s Association.

The 2019 Belize Women’s Softball National Championship is a Double Elimination Tournament of 15 games.
