WBSC supports Women’s Softball development in Ukraine
WBSC supported a development project of Women’s Softball of the Federation Baseball & Softball Ukraine (FBSU) with an envoy coach.
A total of 22 participants, players and coaches affiliated with FBSU, participated in the course, that took place in late July in Prague and Ostrava, Czech Republic.

The Vice President of FBSU commented that the course had a practical impact on the participation of the Ukraine National Team to the Women’s Softball European Championship.
Ukraine placed 18th in the 23-team tournament. In group play, Ukraine won one game against Turkey, then beat Denmark, Slovakia and Lithuania in the placement round.
