[General Athletics] 14 Spring Sport Warriors Named As Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes

Kansas City, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics has announced over the last few weeks that more than 2,000 student-athletes have been named 2019 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes in Men's and Women's Track & Field, Men's and Women's Tennis, Men's and Women's Golf, Baseball, and Softball.
Sterling College had 14 spring student-athletes named as Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes this semester.
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor.
