FanPost Friday: SoftbaLL 2019

It’s SoftbaLL szn, folks. Pick your preferred dates!

Hello and welcome to FanPost Friday. You’ve made it. We’re talkin’ SoftbaLL this week, no writing prompt per se. First off, I need everyone to pour one out for Lil’ Flip & the Segura Boyz. It was the hottest mixtape that never was. Dammit, Jean.

Secondly, pick your preferred date for SoftbaLL 2019! I’ll try to book a field for the top two choices, depending on availability of fields.

If you’ve attended these games in the past, I hope you’ll be able to join us again. If you haven’t, I strongly encourage coming out and meeting a bunch of people from the internet and playing an extremely half-ass game of softball with us. It’s really fun! I promise! People even bring snacks to share. Kids are very welcome to play, as well.

After the games, we’ll likely adjourn to a nearby pub to watch the Mariners road game, have some beers (or sodas), and crush some burgers (or veggie burgers). If we’re able to reserve the Lower Woodland fields like last year, we’ll likely go to the Park Pub, but all that will be TBD.

So, go ahead and cast your vote before Monday at noon. I will post a follow-up after I secure fields for one or both of the top dates.
