[Softball] Softball Scholar-Athletes Announced with 49 from the WHAC
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - (NAIA Release) - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced its 2019 Daktronics-NAIA Women's Softball Scholar-Athletes. In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status.
The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) saw 49 student-athletes named. Lawrence Tech and Madonna led the WHAC with eight named. Siena Heights and UNOH followed with six apiece while Concordia, Cornerstone, and UM-Dearborn each had four. Aquinas and Indiana Tech saw three honored, Lourdes had two, and Rochester had one honoree.
