SEC Softball Tournament: Auburn pitcher Chardonnay Harris leaves with injury vs. Florida

COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Auburn left-handed pitcher Chardonnay Harris left Friday's SEC Softball Tournament game against Florida in the third inning.

Harris came out after suffering a right leg injury. She was replaced by Lexie Handley

Florida led 3-0 with one out in the third inning and runners on first and second when Harris left the game.

Early in the third inning, Harris' right foot slid forward when she tried to plant it while delivering a pitch. Harris went to the ground after that pitch, but she stayed in the game at that time.

Before leaving Friday's game, Harris threw 2 1/3 innings with three runs, three earned runs, two walks and four strikeouts.
