[Softball] Vikings Fall to Wildcats 1-0

Cedar Rapids, IA – Grand View softball dropped their third game in the conference tournament to top-seeded Baker 1-0.

Grand View will face Benedictine College at 5 p.m. for a chance to compete in the final tomorrow against Baker University. A single run home run in the bottom of the first won the game for the Wildcats.

Offensively Abby Sutten (FR/Altoona, IA) tallied two of the three Vikings hits along with Kaylee Watson (SO/Stockport, IA) with one hit.

Meaghan Grah (JR/Boronia, Australia) pitched the full game on the mound for the Vikings, allowing one run on six hits and striking out nine.
