[Softball] Softball continues MSC road action against Kentucky Christian
COLUMBIA, Ky. – The No. 6-ranked Lindsey Wilson softball team travels to Kentucky Christian on Monday afternoon for a Mid-South Conference doubleheader.
The games originally scheduled for Friday-Saturday April 19-20 were postponed due to inclement weather that was forecasted for the area. The first two games of the series are to be played on Monday, followed by the last two on Sunday, April 28 at 2 p.m. CT.
Lindsey Wilson (38-2, 17-1 MSC) returns to action after defeating Shawnee State (Ohio) in their series 3-1 on April 12-13.
As a team, Lindsey Wilson is maintaining a .358 batting average while averaging 6.8 runs per game. The Blue Raider bullpen is controlling the plate with a 1.39 earned run average to rank sixth in the NAIA, while holding batters to a .189 batting average.
