‘Kamo’ named All-Tournament at NFCA Leadoff Classic
COLUMBUS, Ga. — Navarro middle-infielder Kamryn ‘Kamo’ Wells was named to the NFCA’s NJCAA Leadoff Classic All-Tournament Softball Team last weekend in Columbus, Ga. Wells went 11-for-19 (.579) at the plate during the five games. She doubled twice, scored six runs and stole six bases for the Bulldogs against Wabash Valley, Tallahassee, Florida SouthWestern, and Seminole State College of Florida during the classic. She had two hits in each of Navarro’s first four games and wrapped with a 3-for-4 against Seminole State. Navarro (13-10) is scheduled to host Western Nebraska Community College (10-12) for a Thursday non-conference doubleheader. The Bulldogs open the Region XIV East Zone campaign here Friday against Bossier Parish.
