[Softball] Point Softball Splits AAC Twinbill with Reinhardt; Wins Game 2 in Last At-Bat, 6-5
WEST POINT, Ga. – Point University (7-5; 3-1 AAC) split its Feb. 27 Appalachian Athletic Conference home doubleheader with Reinhardt University (4-4; 1-1 AAC) with the Eagles winning game one with two runs in the top of the seventh inning, 4-2, and the Skyhawks winning game two, 6-5, with two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning. Senior designated player Lacy Striblin (Valley, AL) delivered a two-run, walk-off single with no outs, the last of four consecutive singles in the seventh. Point has won five of its last six games and has played six one-run games this season with wins in its last three one-run games. Coached by Jennifer Tyler (Eighth season), Point hosts St. Andrews University (6-10; 0-0) for an AAC doubleheader, Friday, March 1, at West Point Park Field.
