HARDEEVILLE, S.C. - Reinhardt (Ga.) University recorded a pair of three-run innings and the University of South Carolina-Beaufort had a six-run fourth inning to fuel wins over the University of Rio Grande in non-conference softball action, Sunday afternoon, at the Richard Gray Sports Complex.
The Eagles used their two big innings to rally from an early 2-0 deficit and post a 6-2 win over the RedStorm, while the host Sand Sharks blew open a close game with their big inning en route to an 8-1 triumph.
The two losses left Rio Grande at 5-5 for the season.
